Membership
Joining the OSS is extremely simple, just drop us an email using the "Become a Member" button below.
Becoming a part of the OSS also gains you membership to our parent organisation; The Academy for Historical Arts. This not only allows you access to great discounts on selected products from them and other HEMA suppliers but it also opens up a vast network of contacts who are all specialists in one field of HEMA or another. You will also see great opportunities to attend HEMA events (sometimes even at a special AHA price).​
Becoming a member of the AHA also gains you membership with the British Martial Arts and Boxing Association (BMABA) which in turn grants cover from the BMABA Insurance Policies.
Please note that the minimum age to become a member of the OSS is 18.
